Cookie notice

This notice applies to cecur.io and is grounded in what the site actually sets. Cecur uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies of any kind. The only cookies we set are the ones that sign you in.

What we do with the data behind them is set out in our privacy notice.

1. Cookies we set

CookieSet byPurposeDuration
__sessionCecur portal (Auth0 SDK)Encrypted login session for your account. HttpOnly.Session-based
__txn_*Cecur portal (Auth0 SDK)Short-lived transaction state while a login is in progress; removed when login completes.Minutes

2. Third party services that may set cookies or use similar technologies

Auth0 (Okta, Inc.). When you sign in you are briefly redirected to our identity provider, which sets its own cookies on its own domain to operate the login. Those are covered by Auth0’s own notices.

Stripe. If you pay by card you are redirected to a payment page hosted by Stripe on its own domain, where Stripe sets cookies for payment processing and fraud prevention under its own notices.

No third party script runs on cecur.io itself. In particular, the contact form loads no bot-detection widget: the checks that keep it free of automated abuse are our own, and they set no cookies.

4. Changes

If we add cookies or third party scripts, this notice will be updated first, and a consent mechanism will be added if any non-essential cookie is introduced.
